Certified Appraisals
Written personal property appraisals are often required for insurance coverage or loss, charitable donations, equitable distributions, sale or liquidation, financial and estate planning, wills and estate taxes, and divorce settlements. We have full time certified appraisers on staff and consultants who have expert knowledge in specialty areas. Our appraisals adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and are CAGA Certified.
Informal Appraisals
We can provide verbal appraisals of single items, collections or estates at your location by appointment for a nominal fee. We may also discuss consignment options upon request.
Presentations & Appraisal Clinics
We are available to speak to large and small groups on a variety of specialty topics. We also conduct “Antiques Roadshow” style appraisal clinics. Our fees for presentations are hourly based with special consideration for nonprofit groups.
Open Appraisal Day
Open Appraisal Day is held through out the year at our auction facility. We provide complimentary opinions of value or “verbal appraisals”. No appointment is necessary on these days with a limit of five items (photographs acceptable). For larger amounts, simply contact us to arrange an appointment.
